Thanks to the International Competitiveness Improvement (Ur-Ge) Project carried out under the leadership of BTSO, Bursa's textile is increasing its international strength. Bursal companies, which will participate in the fairs in Morocco and America under the project, will aim to open new markets.

With 10 different Ur-Ge projects, BTSO, which is the most project manager between the rooms and stock exchanges in Turkey, continues to carry out its activities in order to enable the sectors to have more say in the international competition. With the project, Bursal firms, which participated in many international furos in 2016, also had the opportunity to establish direct business contacts with foreign buyers coming to the city with the purchasing delegation organizations organized under the leadership of BTSO. Within the scope of Ur-Ge projects, in which important works are carried out which will increase the export capacity of the companies, the companies started to determine the 2017 road maps.

"TRADE STARTED WITH US WITH OUR COMPANIES"

Urfa-Ge Project Consultation Meeting, Bursa Deputy Chairman İsmail Kuş, Parliament Member Rıdvan İmamoğlu and Ur-Ge project member firms participated in the fabric production sector. Speaking at the meeting, Ismail Kuş stated that the support provided by the Ministry of Economy is of great importance for the sectors. İsmail Kuş, who reminded that they organized international fairs and buying delegation organizations especially in baby-child confection and textile sectors in 2016, said, "We have not had a company that trades with the US before. However, after the events we have realized, our firms have started to trade in the US market. "

Ismail Kuş, who plans to organize a buying delegation organization for fabric producers in May, said, "We will meet foreign buyers with our members. I also believe that the organization of the purchasing delegation is an important activity in order to prevent the negative situation which is desired to be made abroad about our country. " In July, Ismail Kuş stated that they will participate in the Texworld Fair, which will be held in New York City, USA, with a stand, and that other activities to be realized within the scope of the project will be determined by taking the opinions of the member companies.
